Dry January

Well, here I am four days into my no resolutions, no diet, no added sugar, and no alcohol and life has thrown me my first curve ball.  The insurance for my condo had increased from approximately $5000 a year to $14,000. Yes, you are reading that correctly. I will say I do live 500+ steps from the beach, but still, an increase of $9,000 dollars is crazy.

After our staff meeting at work, I was joking with my coworkers that I felt like I'm the air traffic controller from the movie Airplane.  Some of you may be too young to remember that movie, but those of you that know, know.  I picked the wrong time to give up all my vices.  I might have to start "sniffing glue", LOL.

Obviously, there is not much we can do about that, but needless to say, we are probably going to be selling our little piece of paradise by the beach.  Don't feel bad.  What will we do?  I suggested buying an RV and a small piece of property and just being drifters.  When a hurricane comes, we can just drive on out and not have to worry about property damage.  We can just visit people and plug ourselves in.  Won't our family and friends love that.  Probably not.  Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the saga.

Until later my friends.

That’s an insane jump! Do they think it’s a second residence?
You are always welcome to bring your RV here. Not sure the HOA would approve but who cares!
